Layers

 

All CAD drawings should have a coherent layer structure. The shortcuts available below aid the CAD user in ensuring that objects reside on their proper layer - now there should be no excuse for a lax attitude to layer management!

These shortcuts have been combined into one AutoLisp file
ML Move entities to selected layer (select entites, then point 'n click to an object on the desired target layer).
SL Set current layer to that of a selected object.
FL Freeze selected layer (point 'n click).
FR Freeze named layer (command prompt).
TH Thaw named layer (command prompt).
OL Turn layer off (point 'n click).
